How do I adjust my Compustar shock sensor?

Article outdated since 1/1/2017. We will be posting an updated version shortly.

Thank you for your understanding.

This sensor is a small, black, egg shaped piece usually installed under the dash. There is a small dial on the end that ranges from ‘OFF’ to 10, 10 being the most sensitive. Firstech recommends a setting between 3 and 4, anything higher than that may cause false alarm triggers.

The Compustar shock sensor can be mounted anywhere. If you are having trouble finding it please check with your installer for more details.

You can turn your shock sensor on and off with most Compustar remotes by pressing and holding the lock and trunk buttons (I & III) for 2.5 seconds.

Thanks.
